The North Calotte Council

 

The North Calotte Council is a Nordic cross-border cooperation organisation funded mainly by the Nordic Council of Ministers.

 

The North Calotte Council provides funding for Nordic projects related to the focus areas selected by the Council. These include:

 

  • regional politics
  • development of the economy and the infrastructure
  • communication and traffic services
  • research and educational cooperation
  • development of shared service solutions across national borders
  • sharing experiences.

Information for the applicants

 

The funding from the North Calotte Council makes up a maximum of 50% of total costs. Multilateral projects with participants from Finland, Sweden, and Norway, are prioritised. Funding can be applied throughout the year.

The North Calotte Council may also grant national match funding for the Interreg IV A North projects.
